McGuire Supply List

Please note that some classes will send a letter home with some class supply suggestions after school starts. All grades will have snack daily.  We encourage water bottles – we have filling stations.

On the 1st day of school, please have an index card with child’s name, allergies, pickup person, bus #, kids klub and/or if they are ordering lunch.

Grade 1:

A durable supply box/bag*

Grade 2:

    • A plastic, rectangular pencil box that closes
    • 2 glue sticks
    • 6 pencils (sharpened)
    • A handheld pencil sharpener

    • 1 pack of 24 Crayola crayons, markers, colored pencils
    • 4 one subject, wide ruled notebook

    All materials should be clearly labeled.  Unfortunately, we will not be able to share this year.

Grade 3:

  • 2 one-subject notebooks – one for math problem of the day, the other for journal writing (label the front covers with your name and subject)
  • 3 sturdy 2-pocket folders 
  • red pens for correcting/editing work (to be replenished throughout the year)
  • glue sticks (to be replenished throughout the year)
  • 1-2 boxes of sharpened pencils (to be replenished throughout the year)

Grade 4:

  •   5 Face Masks.  Wear a clean one each day.  Required by RI Dept. of Health.
  •   A sturdy, good quality backpack
  •   A pencil sharpener with a cover to catch the shavings (Good Quality—MANDATORY)
  •   3  Plastic 2-Pocket Folders   (For Homework, Classwork, and Weekly Papers) 
  • 1 Zippered Soft Pencil Pouch – NO hard plastic boxes

The Art teacher, Ms. Celona, has asked for students to be prepared with some supplies for Art as well.  Due to COVID, they cannot share their supplies so they do need their own for each class.  A list of mandatory supplies is below:
